We were walking after church on Sunday looking for a bakery and chose this one for its outside eating area and the long line to get in! The pain au chocolats were sold out by 11 am. We had a good croque monsieur and an almond and chocolate pastry. Shopgirl was very friendly and helpful.

Huge selection of wonderful breads & pastries. They have a flan which I recommend. There are sins in the world that cannot be forgiven, but you give this flan to your partner everything will be forgiven.

J'ai l'habitude de tester les religieuses/éclairs car c'est souvent à cela que l'on reconnaît une bonne pâtisserie. L'éclair était à tomber avec une crème très chocolatée, parfaitement équilibrée en sucre.
Le crumble était peu sucré, ce qui est rare et nous avons beaucoup apprécié.
Même le café était bon, pour une boulangerie !
J'ai vu qu'ils faisaient de vrais croques monsieur avec de grandes tranches de pain, nous testerons probablement la prochaine fois que nous viendrons à Lisieux.
Les patrons ont l'air très gentils, la terrasse est un vrai plus.Traduction
We tried the red berry crumble tart and the chocolate éclair with two long coffees. I usually try nuns/eclairs because that's often how you recognize a good pastry. The éclair was to die for, with a very chocolatey cream, perfectly balanced with sugar. The crumble was not too sweet, which is rare, and we really enjoyed it. Even the coffee was good, for a bakery! I saw they make real croque monsieurs with large slices of bread, which we'll probably try next time we come to Lisieux. The owners seem very friendly, and the terrace is a real plus.

Très bon Rapport qualité-prix. Le sandwich était super. Le tiramisu aussi excellent. Il y a juste le prix du menu salade qui a augmenté mais toujours aussi bon.

Très bon choix de sandwichs garnis généreusement. Jolis gâteaux et la vendeuse a été très agréable. Je recommande vivement cette adresse si vous êtes de passage à Lisieux.
